Parallely, he cooks the capellini pasta as per instruction to use for serving. Next, he cooks the sauce for which he carmelizes the shallots in olive oil and then adds the other ingredients along with cherry tomatoes and some chilli flakes. Then he adds some white wine and chicken stock and leaves the sauce for reduction. 

Simultaneously, he seasons the shrimp with salt and black pepper and cooks until golden brown. Once the sauce is ready, he garnishes it with fresh basil and flavours the shrimp with lemon zest. For serving, he placed the cooked capellini pasta and topped it with the Scampi sauce and shrimp and garnishes it with parmesan cheese. 

Shereen Pavlides’s way of cooking Shrimp Scampi: On the contrary, cooking with shereen shrimp scampi recipe is a bit different and it is interesting how she creates her own twist to add more flavour to the recipe. Shereen peels into the vein of the shrimp and marinates it with lemon zest, minced garlic, and olive oil for 2 to 4 hours. The shrimp are then cooked for 5 minutes by adding salt and black pepper and remove in a bowl. 

Next, she adds white wine to the oil and some lemon juice. Once the mixture is reduced, she adds back the shrimp and tops it with cold and unsalted butter. As the butter melts, the dish is ready for serving. Interesting, isn’t it?
